Let us bring Snapshot Stories to you. We meet with you for one-session workshops or multi-week classes at your facility, whether that is a private home, church, retirement community, family reunion, or other location.
We have offered classes at the Loft Literary Center, the St. Paul JCC, and ModernWell.

Receive guidance in telling your stories without leaving home. Our teachers have experience leading classes and workshops online (via Zoom or Google Meets) and can develop a rich experience through the flexibility of virtual learning.

Seniors in Princeton, MN, writing their stories with Karlyn Coleman.
Several years ago, Coleman traveled to Princeton, MN, and held a memoir writing class for seniors as part of her Minnesota State Arts Board Grant.
A man wrote about playing crack-the-whip on a frozen pond during the Great Depression. A woman wrote about the day her husband returned from the Vietnam War. And another student wrote about German prisoners of war that were forced to work in the potato fields just outside of Princeton.
